Mark has worked as a top freelance creative on dozens of national accounts, both as an art director and a copywriter. Recent projects have included work for brands such as Hyundai, Taco Bell, Levi’s, Toyota, Oakley, Sprite, and La Quinta Resort & Club. Previously, Mark was Senior Vice President/Creative Director at RPA in Santa Monica, where he ran the national Acura account for 9 years, playing a key role in the 98% increase in sales. Additional responsibilities at RPA included managing and creating work for Honda, Mandalay Bay, The Getty Museum, SOYJOY energy bars and California Pizza Kitchen. 

Mark’s “Simplify” campaign for Honda, directed by the Academy Award winning Coen brothers, was named one of the “Ten Best Ad Campaigns of the Year” by The New York Times, and one of the “100 best Campaigns of the Decade” by ADWEEK. 

Past positions have included Creative Director and Art Director at several major agencies in Los Angeles and New York, on accounts such as Nikon, Oliver Peoples, and Volvo.  His work has been honored by The One Club, The New York Art Directors Club, The Clios, The Kelly Awards, The Los Angeles Beldings, CA, and The Museum of Modern Art, in New York.

Mark is a native Californian and graduated from the University of Texas, at Austin.
